Keeping Up with Changes

change aheadLife happens.

We understand that things come up, situations change, and alterations in care need to be made. And, since most of what we do involves heath care, those shifts don’t always happen at predictable or convenient times.

Ideally, we would like to have 24-48 hours’ notice of any necessary changes to your care plan. This time frame allows us to note the necessary changes in our files as well as allowing us plenty of time to contact all of the people involved in your care. We always want to make sure that everyone is on the same page so that we can avoid any miscommunications. We do understand though that some changes need to be made immediately when it comes to health care and, if needed, we are able to accomplish these on the same day.

Because we are a non-clinical operation we do not require doctor’s orders in order to make any changes to care plans. You, our client, are the boss. We work with our clients and their families to determine the best care options for their individual needs. That means that if you want to change your care, we will work with your family to make those changes happen as needed.

If you wish to discontinue our services for any reason we typically ask for two weeks’ notice. But, if life happens, we will understand and work with you to make the change or discontinuation of services as quickly as we can.
